Thousands of truck drivers went on strike in Thailand yesterday demanding the Thai government to step in to curb rising fuel prices ….

Truckers blocked roads into Bangkok, putting pressure on a government to stop rising fuel prices.

Truck Drivers demands included a discount of 3 baht per litre on diesel for 6 months, and loans to convert engines to LPG. Last month Thai refineries agreed to sell diesel to Bangkok bus companies at a 8% discount.
