A businessman from Malaysia was murdered in the south border town of Sungai Golok yesterday
Mr. Mohd Dahlan, a Malaysian businessman was shot dead in the southern border town of Sungai Golok on Thursday. Mohd Dahlan, from Kampung Buyong Cabang, Kuala Terengganu, was found dead in his truck.
Mohd Dahlan was alone. A Thai police man said the 43 yr. old Malaysian was on his way back to Malaysia when he was killed. He had a Thai wife and child. Mohd Dahlan was shot twice at close range, once in the neck and in his stomach. Mohd Dahlan is the 1st Malaysian to be killed in southern Thailand this year. Over 3,500 people have been killed in Southern Thailand since the conflict began almost five years ago.
