The 3rd member of Thaksin Shinawatra’s legal team’s Thana Tansiri, a relative of Mr Thaksin’s wife began serving a 6-month jail sentence today on contempt relating to the Bt2 million pastry box bribery scandal case.
Thana was taken from Bamrungrad hospital in Bangkok by police and corrections officers to the Supreme Court in Bangkok.
Thana was in handcuffs and wore a baseball-cap, sunglasses and covered his mouth with a gauze mask that is often used in Bangkok due to high amounts of pollution and dust.
