Canadian man shot and killed in Pai, Thailand by Thai Policeman | Canadian Family wants justice
Billboards in Canada are being constructed to campaign for Canadian Leo Del Pinto, who was shot and killed to death by a police in Pai, Thailand in January. Leo’s father demands justice. Leos’s father wants Canadians to write to members of Canadian Parliament to demand action in the Thailand murder case.
Sources say that the Thai policeman has not been charged and is not in jail.
“What reason was behind this senseless, senseless death of my son,” Leo Del Pinto said. “My son did nothing wrong for this person, this police officer murdered him. When is justice going to be served?”
Leo Del Pinto, 24, was in the northern town of Pai, Thailand and died of two gunshot wounds to his face and torso.
Leo’s friend, who was also shot, said the Thai policeman punched her in the face as she and Leo were leaving a cafe and that Leo was just trying to defend her.
