Thai Exports of Honda products manufactured in Thailand up 18%
Exports of Honda products manufactured in Thailand is up 18% in 2nd quarter of 2008, Honda Motor Company Thailand announced today. Thai Honda Exports for the 1st half of 2008 was 55.6 billion baht. Honda has been using Thailand as an export base since 1987.
Honda manufactures 15% of its world manufacturing in Thailand, such as small passengers automobile models Accord, City, Civic, Jazz, and CR-V and motorcycles and power products to more than 80 countries.
During the first half of 2008, Honda earned 36.0 billion baht off exports of Honda autos, 11.7 billion baht from motorcycles, 5.6 billion baht from power products and other Honda parts made in Thailand.
