Thailand woman wins gold for Thailand in Olympics
Thailand Weightlifter Premwadee, or Nong Kay, has won the first gold medal for Thailand in Weightlifting in at Olympic Games in Bejing, China.
Premwadee or Nong Kay, a 24-year-old Thai athlete from Nakhon Sawan, Thailand won the gold medal in the 53kg class. Nong Kay broke an Olympic record by lifting 126kg in her 2nd attempt in clean and jerk Olympic contest.
