1,700+ Bangkok Slums to be moved out of Bangkok

Prime Minister Samak spoke at the National Economic and Social Development Board on the visions for Thailand for 2027 seminar and said he will move over 1,700 slums out of Bangkok. Samak said the Thai government would relocate over 1,700 slum communities out of Bangkok. Samak said the slums would be made into parks.
