Dollar growing stronger against Thai baht

Due to the recent drop in oil prices and the political and economical tensions in Thailand the Baht has weakened against the dollar in last few months.

Bank of Thailand’s boss Tarisa Watanagase said the depreciation of Thai baht is in line with other Asian currencies. Bank of Thailand’s boss also said she is not worried with the current Thai Baht’s devaluation. Tarisa also stated the central bank is ready to intervene if necessary.
