Samak to return as Prime Minister
Samak will return as Prime Minister of Thailand by choice of the People Power party to nominate him as prime minister.
Thai Parliament will meet on Friday to discuss and vote on the next prime minister.
Samak has accepted the nomination. Samak said he is confident that parliament will find him fit and proper.
PPP’s Kudeb Saikrajang said a majority of PPP members have voted to reinstate Samak as Prime Minister. Samak is “the leader of our party so he is the best choice.”
On Tuesday Thailand’s Constitution Court disqualified Samak for violating the constitution for his cooking show, due to conflict of interest.
