Political Analysts are predicting a short lived PPP Government
Thailands Political Analysts are saying that due to no prominent outsiders for key economic and the Foreign Ministry cabinet positions, Analysts are saying that the new Thai government would be short-lived, with the House dissolution within next few months.
Prime Minister Somchai, brother-in-law of ousted premier Thaksin, is sticking to his story that Thaksin has no influence on the forming of The new Thai cabinet.
Pramon Sutivong, chairman of Thailand’s Board of Trade has said the economic minister choices are “disappointing. Several veteran politicians still cling to power at key ministries and this shows coalition parties just bargain for their own best interests.”
Political outsider experts were previously expected to grab economic ministries, commerce, energy, industry, and transport.
Thailand’s Democrat party is unhappy with Prime Minister Somchai for taking to much time to set up his cabinet and said new ministers appear “uglier” than those under the Samak government.
The Democrat’s are saying the reason the new cabinet was not decided on quickly is because most that were chosen for new jobs rejected to serve under a short lived PPP government.
