2 PAD protesters were killed and 358 injured in violent riots in Bangkok

Shortly after 10pm yesterday PAD protesters threw bottles at a Bangkok police compound, the police in return fired tear gas at the PAD protesters.

Two PAD protesters were killed and 358 injured during violent protest riots in Bangkok between Thai police and PAD protesters.

Ten PAD members are in serious condition and six had to have limbs amputated. One protester’s leg was said to have been blown off by a ping-pong bomb that he had in his pocket.

The first death yesterday was a 40 to 45 year-old male, a Jeep Cherokee that he was near exploded into flames. Reports say that the man killed was not the owner of the vehicle.

Angkhana Radappanyawut also died from serious chest injuries, Thai police are saying that her death was due to a bomb she was carrying, a source in Bangkok said this is a cover-up and she was not killed by a small bomb, but most likely killed by a police baton or teargas canisters fired by police into crowd.

Two police officers were stabbed. Four other Thai police were shot by PAD protesters, one shot in the chest, one in the collarbone, one in the neck and one on his right hand.
