PANIC IN PATTAYA, THAILAND AS SWINE FLU POUNCES

The sex crazed hordes of raunchy revelers who frequent the Thai resort city of Pattaya are on the alert as a spate of new swine flu infections sends the town into a frantic stampede of those trying to avoid the infamous H1N1 flu virus known by its derogatory nickname Swine flu

Public Health Minister Witthaya Kaewparadai announced that 21 new infections had been confirmed in Pattaya.

The outbreak of the Swine Flu has created alarm and concern in Pattaya, after three Taiwanese visitors who had “vacationed” there were reported to have contracted the virus while visiting Thailand. The infections were discovered on their return to Taiwan. Today’s news of 21 cases in the sex obsessed resort village added to the growing alarm.

On Thursday, a Bangkok school was closed and the pupils sent home after it was discovered that an 11-year-old boy already known as the 2nd case of human-to-human H1N1 Swine Flu case confirmed in Thailand had indeed passed the virus to schoolmates. Thirteen of the boy’s Grade 6 classmates now have flu symptoms. Lab tests have been completed on most of the samples, 4 of which tested positive for flu virus H1N1.

60 epidemiologists have arrived in Pattaya to observe the patients there. All patients have received anti-viral drugs.

No news on hotel discounts in Pattaya at this time.
