FBI Observing Carradine Death Satisfied With Thai Police Investigation
FBI observers looking into the Thai police investigation of the strange death of David Carradine have stated that they are satisfied with the procedures of Thai police inspectors working on the case. Rumors had swirled at the time of death that there might have been foul play of some sort. Carradine’s family had voiced criticism of the Thai authorities handling of the investigation. Thai Pol Maj-Gen Amnuay blamed people not involved in the case for creating confusion among the public in regard to the circumstances of the death. He pointed out that “During the police inspection at the actor’s room, three officials from the American embassy were also present. Those officials can conclude what the cause of his death is.”
A forensic pathologist from the U.S., Michael Baden, who performed an autopsy on Carradine said “To reach a final determination as to the cause and the manner of death we must wait for further information from Thailand as to the scene findings and the completion of the crime laboratory and toxicology studies that are still being performed.”
Thai experts conclude that the cause of death was auto-erotic asphyxiation where oxygen is intentionally cut of to the brain to increase sexual arousal.
