Islamic Killers Strike Again in Southern Thailand
Islamic Insurgents in Southern Thailand slayed two rubber tappers in the province of Pattani, then exploded a bomb placed under their bodies, injuring five onlookers who came to assist, police said Tuesday.
The rubber farmer and his wife, both Buddhists, were shot down in the morning as they drove to work on a motorbike.
Police investigators came to the scene and were securing it when insurgents detonated a bomb placed beneath the bodies of the dead couple.
Three police and two civilians were injured in the blast.
Yesterday, a gunman killed a Muslim man attending a marriage service in the early evening, according to police.
