Thailand will be the host for the 14th International Anti-Corruption Conference happening on Nov 10th-13th at Bangkok’s Queen Sirikit National Covention Centre. It is anticipated to be attended by about 1,500 representatives coming from 140 countries, Prime Minister Abhisit Vejjajiva stated on Monday.
Mr Abhisit announced that the IACC will be a meeting for citizens from all over the world to talk over know-how in battling corruption which is a danger to political, social, monetary and judicial strength and harmful to sustainable development.
The conference will confer on ways of restoring stability after the global monetary crisis and bringing forth good governance in the changing societal, economic and political circumstances, he added.
The Prime Minister hoped the conference will generate consciousness in opposition to corruption among the Thai nation and show the planet’s population Thailand’s goal to combat graft.
