Typhoon Approaches Thailand
The Thai government has created a 50 million baht emergency fund for all provinces soon to be hit by typhoon Ketsana, currently on course towards Thailand, Interior Minister Chavarat Charnvirakul told reporters on Tuesday.
The number of deaths from Ketsana in the Philippines has increased to more than 240 people. more than 170,000 people in Vietnam have fled their homes as the typhoon draws near the coastline.
