Tune In and Turn On or Tune Out and Turn Off Today for Thaksin TV
Former Thai Prime Minister and all around pain in the ass for the current Thai government,Thaksin Shinwatra, will make a test broadcast of two new television channels at noon on Sunday.
‘The first channel will be called “O Channel” which will air programs on the “One Tambon, One Product” or OTOP scheme initiated by the Thaksin government”, according to Mr Noppadon, a Thaksin legal adviser, adding that this particular channel will be for increasing sales of the OTOP products to help the economy rebound.
The second channel will be called “Clever Channel” which will be for sustaining Thai students in educational development and allowing them to stay viable in the global community. This channel’s learning programs will be maintained by the Thai Kom Foundation, an educational group.
Mr Noppadon said that starting Sunday, any and all Thai people can directly communicate with the ex-premier via SMS as well as his twitter website. He added that the government should not be concerned because Thaksin’s activities are only for the benefit of the Thai people.
