Two Seizures of Amphetamine Shipments in Bangkok
Bangkok police have arrested two men and seized 100,000 methamphetamine tablets a Bangkok police announced on Wednesday.
Phum Kaewsongpetch and Niwat Inthukate, both 28 years old, were taken into custody on the Suphan Buri-Taling Chan road at a PTT gasoline station in Nonthaburi’s Bang Buathong area Tuesday night.
The illegal drugs were found concealed inside one of the suspects’ car.
The drugs were valued at 30 million baht.
Both suspects informed the police they were paid 100,000 baht to transport the methamphetamines to a customer in Bangkok. They said they had in the past made three successful deliveries, currently acting metropolitan police commander Pol Lt-Gen Santhan Chayanont told reporters.
This follows upon the arrest Monday of another two men with 780,000 speed pills.
