Soldiers Hurt in Bomb Ambush
Six Thai soldiers were wounded when insurgents exploded a roadside homemade bomb in a surprise ambush Sunday morning.
The blast occurred around 8:10 am on the Kuchingluepa – Sipo road in Rangae district.
Police announced that the six soldiers from the Narathiwat Taskforce 38 were on patrol in a pick-up truck when insurgents used a wired remote control device to set off the bomb.
The blast caused damage to the truck and slightly injured the soldiers.
