Committee May Pretend to Test Hoax Bomb Detector to Save Face for Big-Shot Suckers
Thai Science and Technology Minister Khunying Kalaya Sophonpanich, a name which may soon live in scientific infamy, and who has the power to actually scientifically test the GT200 dowsing rod and expose the deadly fraud, has chosen instead to set up a “committee,” making a farce of the “scientific” test and an international laughing stock of Thai “Science and Technology” ministry. She refers to it as a ”panel of experts from 11 agencies.” With the “committee” deciding on the outcome (as if the outcome of a dowsing rod device test would actually be a mystery), as opposed to the scientific method, the ridiculous deadly farce may continue indefinitely, resulting in preventable deaths of Thai soldiers and the public.
Members of the public have also been arrested and punished when the worthless little swiveling antenna-like device pointed at them.
The GT200 is one of quite a few devices sold globally, mostly by British entrepreneurs who assert that such devices can ferret out explosives and, in another variety, illegal drugs.
The GT200 is of course just a dowsing rod that gives the appearance of being pulled toward an object or substance when it is actually moved by unconscious motions of the operator. Such devices were commonly used in the past by dowsers who swindled rural dwellers out of money by pretending to find the best plaice to dig a well.
