Tight Security at Thai Supreme Court
Security at the Supreme Court was stiffened on Monday after a fruit juice box containing C4 explosive wired for detonation was found at the side of the compound’s railing on Sunday.
Visitors, as well as reporters, were banned from moving about the area, bags were being searched and court staff were told again that they must report any doubtful articles.
The tightened security was arranged by court secretary-general Chaweng Chusiri.
Metropolitan law enforcement has set up two squads to look into the grenade explosion near Government House and the C4 bomb neutralized outside the Supreme Court.
