Relentless Resilient Red Shirts Ready to Rally….Sometime
Thailand’s red shirts will hold a major rally after Feb 26, but the precise day has yet to be decided, said United Front for Democracy against Dictatorship (UDD) leader Jatuporn Promphan at the assembly in front of the Bangkok Bank headquarters on Silom road on Friday.
He said UDD leaders would have a conference to make a decision on a date before Feb 26, when the ruling on the 76 billion baht assets case will be conveyed.
Nathawut Saikua, a further UDD leader, said no matter what the result might be there would not be an organized assembly of the red shirts on Feb 26.
Pol Lt-Gen Santhan Chayanont, the municipal police chief, said police were fully organized for security duty at the Supreme Court’s Criminal Division for Holders of Political Positions although there may not be a gathering on that day.
