Thaksin Guilty of Abusing Office
The Thai Supreme Court has just ruled that Thaksin was guilty of abusing his position to benefit Shin Corp and also to enrich himself.
The Court is now reading the judgment whether the state can seize Thaksin’s money. The main question is whether Thaksin’s and Pojaman’s money earned before Thaksin went into politics should be seized as well. Their stocks in Shin Corp were allegedly worth Bt22 billion before Thaksins’ became premier.
Some funds will be confiscated, the question is will all be confiscated.
