Thai Attorney-general Chulasingh Vasantasing announced that he will without delay ask the Supreme Court to give an order seizing 46.37 billion baht of Thaksin Shinawatra’s assets, as outlined in Friday’s verdict; even though the ousted prime minister’s legal representatives say they will offer fresh facts mitigating a new trial within the necessary 30 days.

Thai Prime Minister Abhisit Vejjajiva on Tuesday ordered all state agencies to look over the court decision in detail to see if they had been harmed, so that they could commence legal action against former Prime MinisterThaksin.
