Boys in Blue Beat the Bushes for Bank Bombers
Thai Police have discovered evidence leading to the persons behind a string of explosions in Narathiwat on Tuesday.
Narathiwat police chief Chaithat Intanujit said the bombers were young members of the Runda Kumpulan Kecil (RKK) rebel group lead by Wae-ali Copter.
Security camera footage from two sites in Rangae and Sungai Kolok districts confirmed a clear shot of the suspects which had helped police tie them to the RKK, Pol Maj Gen Chaithat said.
The pictures showed the suspects at two spots parking their motorbikes in front of ATM booths and planting what looked to be home-made bombs obscured in a plastic bag with a soft drink can, then fleeing the scene.
