Thai Stock Exchange Rises
The Stock Exchange of Thailand (SET) composite index on Tuesday increased 17.37 points or 2.36 per cent to end the day up at 752.20 points. The share value was 27.39 billion baht, with 4.54 billion shares traded.
The SET100 index closed the session at 1,142.48 points, up 28.08 points or 2.52 per cent, with an overall trade value of 23.32 billion baht.
The SET50 index swelled 13.10 points or 2.52 per cent to continue at 532.03 points, with a total operation value of 20.42 billion baht.
Conversely, the Market for Alternative Investment (mai) index dropped 0.86 point or 0.41 per cent to close at 206.93 points, with a total turnover of 147.52 million baht.
Top five most active traded shares were as follows;
ADVANC closed at 84.75 baht, up by 4.25 or 5.28 per cent.
PTT closed at 246.00 baht, up by 6.00 or 2.50 per cent.
PTTEP closed at 142.50 baht, up by 4.00 or 2.89 per cent.
BANPU closed at 608.00 baht, up by 20.00 or 3.40 per cent.
TMB closed at 1.42 baht, up by 0.05 or 3.65 per cent.
